Obituary from Daily American Republic, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Saturday evening, June 30, 1923, Front Page. Aged Citizen Dies From a Bad Injury. Jaba Ham, aged 77, for a number of years a resident of this section, died at his home last night from injuries sustained two weeks ago when he fell and broke one of his legs. Blood poisoning set up in the injury bringing death within a short while. The deceased is widely known in Butler and Stoddard counties. He is survived by a widow, a son, Lewis Ham and daughter Mrs. Dixie Burns. The body will be buried in Rombauer cemetery this afternoon.
