Ames Daily Tribune, Ames, Iowa, November 30, 1962, Page 2, Col. 3: Story City resident died. Mrs. Georgia McCormick, 72, died about 4 a.m. today at the Story City Hospital. She had been in poor health several months. Born in Woolstock, she moved to Story City two years ago from Hampton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer, in 1948. Survivors include a daughter, Esther, at home, and two sons, Merl M., Story City and Harley, Cedar Falls, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. from Larson Funeral Home, Story City, with the Rev. George C. Strum of St. Petri Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Webster City.
