Goodland---Mame Eleanor Dyberg, 78, Goodland, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 1995, at the Lantern Park Manor, Colby. Mrs. Dyberg was born Mamie Eleanor Eckley on Nov. 4, 1917, in Clay County, Iowa, and was a resident of Goodland since 1982, moving from Canon City, Colo. She was a nurse at Cheyenne Wells, Colo., and Canon City. Her husband, Julius A., preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Janet Kay Jess of Lawrence; a son, Jesse D. Garner of Sierra Vista, Calif.; a sister, Hazel Michaels of Sigourney, Iowa; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Goodland, Elder Dewayne Hanes officiating. Burial of cremains will be later in North Lawn Cemetery, Spencer, Iowa. Memorials may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Koons Chapel, 211 N. Main, Goodland 67735, handled arrangements.
