Posted at findagrave.com: Janice M. Mellgren, age 84, of Escanaba, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 10, 2019. She was born on October 11, 1934 in Minneapolis, MN to the late Donald and Alice (Anderson) Clason.
On January 11, 1958 she married William Mellgren, he preceded her in death on April 20, 2016.
Janice was a member of the Carney Evangelical Free Church. Janice enjoyed playing the organ at church, bowling, walking and crocheting items for premie babies.
Janice is survived by her daughter Leslie (Kirk) Johnson;
2 sons: Gary (Wendy) Mellgren and Scott (Gladys) Mellgren.
2 sisters: Donna (Wallace) Medin and Judy (Robert) Tanner.
13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents and husband William.
Visitation for Janice will be on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at the Carney Evangelical Free Church in Carney, Mich. beginning at 1:00 pm cst until time of funeral service at 3:00 pm cst with Pastor Kit Bogan officiating. Burial will be in the Carney Free Church Cemetery in the Spring.
