Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Fayetteville, Arkansas, Wednesday, June 3, 2015: Farmington---Helen Porter Hill, age 92 of Farmington, Ark. passed away May 28, 2015 at Westwood Health and Rehab in Springdale, Ark. Helen was born October 3, 1922 in Harmony, Ark. the daughter of Guy Porter and Tommie King Porter. Helen was a devoted wife, mother and farmer and also was a "Rosie the Riveter" during WWII. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Hill and brothers; James Porter, John Porter, Robert Porter, Wilson Porter, and Thomas Porter. Survivors include her two sons, Jim Hill and wife Carolyn of Phoenix, Ariz. and John Hill and wife Martha Kostel of Bella Vista, Ark. Helen also had two grandsons Scot Hill and wife Amanda and Shay Hill and wife Dawn along with two great grandsons Logan and Luka all of Phoenix, Ariz. and sister Doris "Dot" Porter Church of Fort Worth, Texas, and a host of dear family members and friends of her life. Memorial services will be held at the Farmington United Methodist Church on Thursday, June 4th at 10:30 a.m. Online guest book, www.luginbuel.com.
