Barbara M. Kehe, 85, of Waterloo, died at Ravenwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, on Friday, May 15, 2015. She was born on July 14, 1929 in Waterloo, daughter of Carl William and Ada Bell (Ford) Hosier.
Barbara graduated from Waterloo East High in 1946 and she had attended Gates Business College.She married Robert William Kehe Jan. 9, 1948 in Waterloo. He preceded her in death Nov. 28, 2000.
Barbara worked for worked at GNC in College Square for 14 years, Service Cleaners for 14 years, and as a service officer and at the American Legion as an office manager. She retired in 1996.
She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, she was a two-time president of the United Methodist Church Women, and was a church treasurer. She was a volunteer at Longfellow, Cunningham Schools, and East High with English as a second language.
Barbara is survived by two sons: Wesley Kehe, Minneapolis, MN, and Alan (Malinda) Kehe of Minneapolis, MN; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Donna Schneiderman and Carla MacDonald; and a brother Dale Hosier.
