Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier, September 6, 2005: Donna J. Schneiderman (1926-2005). Cedar Falls---Donna J. Schneiderman, 79, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, Sept. 2., at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home. She was born August 8, 1926, in Palo Alto County, daughter of Carl W. and Ada B. Ford Hosier. On July 6, 1944, she married Harold H. Schneiderman in Marion, S.C. He died Jan. 26, 1997. Mrs. Schneiderman graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1943 and received her LPN degree from Area 1 in Calmar. She worked as an LPN at St. Joseph Hospital, New Hampton, retiring in 1975. She then operated an alteration business from her home from 1976 until January 2005. Survivors include: a daughter Jill (John) Uhlenberg of La Porte City; two sons John (Cindy) of Marshalltown and Jim of Mission Viejo, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara Kehe of Cedar Falls. Preceded in death by: a brother, Dale Hosier; and a sister Carla McDonald. Services: were 10 a.m. today at St. John American Lutheran Church, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Richardson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Memorials: may be directed to the church.
