Forrest City, Dec. 5---Mrs. Montine Kirkpatrick McDaniel, aged 68, of Forrest City, widow of Louis McDaniel, died Monday at a hospital here. She was born at Ripley, Tenn., and had lived here since 1914 when she married her late husband, who was a member of the McDaniel family that settled here in 1824. Their daughters were known for their beauty, and won beauty contests in Arkansas, Tennessee and Louisiana. Mrs. Daniel was a member of the Graham Memorial Presbyterian Church. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Richard W. Freeman of New Orleans, Mrs. Louis F. Haven Jr. of Forrest City and Mrs. William D. Tucker of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. E. Gordon Perry of San Antonio, Tex., and Mrs. J. A. Kincheloe of Oklahoma City, and 11 grandchildren. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Stevens Funeral Chapel here by Dr. J. Herndon McCain and Rev. J. V. Cobb. Burial will be at Forrest Park Cemetery.
