Dallas Morning News, July 14, 1929, Page 8: Mrs. Laura Goolsby Dies. Mrs. Laura K. Goolsby, 69, of 3107 Carlisle street, died at 9:45 a. m. Saturday at a local hospital. She moved to Dallas ten years ago from Terrell. Funeral services will be held at the Anderson-Clayton Chapel at Terrell at 4 p. m. Sunday. Mrs. Goolsby was the wife of the late Thomas Goolsby of Terrell. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Ada Lynch of Fort Worth, Mrs. C. J. Kelley of Deming, N. M.; Mrs. Sue Lies of Denver, Colo., Mrs. R. C. Tevis of Burkburnett and Miss Virginia Goolsby of Dallas, and six sons Robert Goolsby of Cleburne, Tom Goolsby of Rusk, Harvey Goolsby of Terrell, Elbert Goolsby of Abilene, Frank Goolsby of Terrell and Claude Goolsby of Dallas.
