Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Cowan,64, who died of bronchitis Friday, January 26, at her home in Wewoka, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Lenna Baptist church, in charge of McConnell's Funeral Home of Wewoka. The Rev. W. L. Story, pastor of Fame Baptist Church conducted the services. Burial was in Lenna cemetery. Mrs. Cowan was the mother of seven children, three daughters, Madames Sylvia Foster, Rozella Bolton, Cora O'Neal and four sons, Sam, John, Steve and Earnest all of whom attended the funeral. Mrs. Cowan was a resident of Fame until about four months ago. May God's blessing be upon her family and friends.
