New Hampton, Ia.---Special: Physicians at St. Joseph's hospital here said Tuesday that injuries suffered by Mrs. Clark Scoles, 23, of Nashua, in an automobile accident near Hawkeye Saturday night would probably not be fatal. Mrs. Scoles suffered a fractured skull and a fractured right arm. Her daughter, Connie Lee, three years old, is suffering from head injuries. Harold Kirchman of Sumner, driver of the other car which struck the automobile driven by Dale Walsh, 25, Clear Lake truck driver, received cuts and bruises on the face, arms and chest. He is expected to be released from the hospital within a few days. Mrs. Walsh, 26, was fatally injured in the crash. Her mother, Mrs. August Becker, 50, of Nashua, is in a West Union hospital with a fractured skull. Walsh, who also suffered a fractured skull, is also in the West union hospital. Miss Virginia Harms, Leslie Wells and Miss Lucille Kirchman, who were in the automobile with Harold Kirchman, were all treated at the hospital here. The young women were treated for cuts and bruises while Wells had a fractured collarbone set.
