Jimmie Earline Hamblin, the eldest daughter of James Franklin and Frankie Pauline (Kirkpatrick) Hamblin, was born 28 July 1920 in Chickasaw County, Mississippi. On 22 February 1945 she married Bilbo Parrish in Marks, Quitman County, Mississippi, as his second wife. Bilbo was born 27 April 1911 in Ecru, Pontotoc County, Mississippi, the son of Suelee Allen and Mary Ellen (Shettle) Parrish. By his first wife, Bertha Tutor he had three children, Walter Lee Parrish, Billie Jean Parrish, and Freddy Parrish. He died 15 May 1989 in Senatobia, Tate County, Mississippi. Jimmie currently lives (1994) in Sledge, Quitman County, Mississippi.

On May 4th, 2013 she passed away, leaving behind four daughters, Billie, Shirley, Donna, and Wanda. She is survived by siblings, grand-children and many many great-grandchildren.
