On the 1930 U. S. Census of Logan Township, Wayne Co., Missouri, Joe Kirkpatrick appears with his wife Alice and children Edward, Ellis, Irene, Inez, Elmer, Billie, Julia, Carline, Dorothy and Frieda. Also in the household is Joe's nephew Ray, age 33.

Funeral services for Joesph Andrew Kirkpatrick a 76 year old resident of Piedmont, who died Thursday in Rolla where he had been ill for some time, will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow in the Gish Chapel of Piedmont. The Rev. Fred M. Goff will officiate and burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery. Mr. Kirkpatrick, a life-long resident of Wayne County and a member of the First Christian Church, was born February 25, 1888. On July 1908, he married Miss Emily Alice Rainwater who survives. Other survivors are four sons, Edward Kirkpatrick of Tulsa, Okla.; Ellis Kirkpatrick of Piedmont; Elmer Kirkpatrick of St. James and Billie Kirkpatrick of Stigler, Okla.; eight daughters, Irene Magnusson of Rembrandt, Iowa; Inez Martin of Stigler, Okla.; Julie Hicks of Shreveport, La.; Caroline Young of Omaha, Neb.; and Dorothy Malloy, Freda McMurray and Betty Kime all of Piedmont; 43 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
