Patricia Anne Guy was the second child of Erwin Leo and Delores (Reich) Guy. She was born 13 October 1922 at Sedan, Chatauqua County, Kansas. She married Richard E. Brooks, 9 March 1941.
There were two (2) children born of the marriage.
Arkansas City Traveler, June 9, 2004: Patricia G. Brooks, 81, Arkansas City, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004, at the South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 2004, in the Parker Cemetery. Pastor Gale Rider officiated. Born October 13, 1922 in Sedan, she was the daughter of Erwin and Delores (Rich) Guy. She was reared and educated in Sedan. On March 9, 1941, Pat married Richard Brooks in Topeka. She worked for the Pamona Tile Company, Steffen's Dairy, and as a clerk in the traffic department of Dixie-Portland Flour Mill for 28 years retiring in 1987. Pat was a member of the First Baptist Church Crusaders Sunday School Class for many years and later in life joined the Mount Zion Community Church. She was also a member of the D.A.R. Survivors include her husband, Richard of the home; one son, Bill and his wife, Nancy of Arkansas City; one daughter, Barbara Fortier of Arkansas City; four grandchildren, Chris and Sean Fortier, Angie Brooks and Tracie Beeson; two step-grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
