They married on May 13, 1951 in Pendleton, OR. Also surviving are her children and their spouses: Don and Debbie Canaday of Spokane; Julie and Art Bingman and Cynthia and Ray Berry all of Seattle, WA; grandchildren: Justin Canaday, Lara Kopacek and husband John, Desiree Wickward, Eric Canaday and wife Katie, Rori Schultz, Grace Throckmorton, Tekla Moller and husband David, Hilary Bingman; great grandchildren: Ellie Moller, Jack Canaday: brother, Virgil Johnson of New Mexico; sisters: Doris Klein of Portland, OR, Trudy Person of Albany, OR, Jean Coble of St. Louis, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews. Claudia was the youngest of 14 children. She loved gardening, birds and quilting. Her biggest joy in life was her family. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 6 at 11:00 a.m. at South Hill Adventist Church, 5607 S. Freya St. Interment will be at Spokane Memorial Gardens, 5909 S. Cheney-Spokane Rd.
