The Oregonian, Portland, Oregon, Friday, February 5, 1993, Fourth Edition, Page C02: A funeral for Wilmer L. Johnson will be at noon Friday in Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel in Vancouver. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Vancouver. Mr. Johnson died of cancer Tuesday in his Battle Ground home. He was 67. Born May 15, 1925, in Kinder, La., Mr. Johnson was a plant manager of Harris Pine Mills in Battle Ground. He had lived in Clark County since 1975. Mr. Johnson was a member of Meadow Glade Seventh-day Adventist Church. Survivors include his wife, Faye W. of Battle Ground; sons, David W. of Sunnyside, Wash., and Daniel L. of Palm Springs, Calif.; brothers, Virgil of Artesia, N.M., and Bruce of Pasco, Wash.; sisters, Claudia Canaday of Puyallup, Wash., Leota Cowart of Kinder, Doris Klein of Portland, Imogene Coble of St. Louis and Trudy LaSage of Lake Oswego; and four grandchildren. The family suggests remembrances be contributions to the Quiet Hour Radio Program in Redlands, Calif.
