Mount Pleasant News, Mount Pleasant, Iowa,12 October 1986: Mrs. Craig (Wilma) Wilmeth, 76, 607 N. Jackson, Mount Pleasant, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 1986, at 9:55 p.m., in Mount Pleasant. She was born June 28, 1910, at Salem, the daughter of Sumner and Florence White Garretson. She married Craig Wilmeth who died on Nov, 23, 1975. Mrs. Wilmeth was a member of the St. Michael's Episcopal Church and the St. Michael's Guild. She had been a doll collector and dealer, and was a former employee of the Mount Pleasant Public Library. Surviving are one son, Garretson Wilmeth, Phoenix, Ariz.; one daughter, Mrs. James (Jean) Marlin, Boone, N.C.; two brothers, Keith Garretson, Mount Pleasant, and O. Loren Garretson, Farmington, N.M.; one sister, Doris Garretson, Salem; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Her parents, one grandson and one brother, Wayne, also preceded her in death. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Episcopal Church with Father Wayne Kamm officiating. Her cremains will be interred at the Salem South Cemetery. Friends may call as they desire Tuesday at the Beatty-Wilkins Funeral Home to sign the register. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
