Nancy was a graduate of Heading College of Abingdon, Knox County, Illinois, and was a teacher. She died 10 November 1992 in San Gabriel, Los Angeles County, California.

Roland was born 14 February 1896 in Scotland Township, McDonough County, Illinois. he was a farmer and a carpenter. he died 25 October 1973 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California.

There were three (3) children born of the marriage.
