Kirkpatrick Sr., 68, Overland Park, a former insurance executive, died Feb. 25, 1991, in the Forum Health Care Center, 3501 W. 95th St., Overland Park. Mr. Kirkpatrick was president of Charles D. Williams & Co. from 1968 until he retired in 1981. Earlier he was vice president and executive vice president at the company. He was a member of the Optimist Club of Overland Park and was former president of the Johnson County 3&2 Baseball League. He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Prairie Village. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was born in Neosho, Mo., and lived in this area most of his life. Survivors include three sons, Scott Kirkpatrick, Basehor in Leavenworth County, James W. Kirkpatrick II, Overland Park, and William Grady Kirpatrick Jr., Westwood; a daughter, Kathy Wald, Drexel, Mo.; a brother, James W. Kirkpatrick, Fairway; two sisters, Jane LaPlante, Prairie Village, and Anne Mackie, Leawood; and nine grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church; burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Raytown. Friends may call from 6:30 to 7 p.m. today at the church, where the rosary will be said at 7 p.m. The family suggests contributions to the National Parkinson Foundation or the church.
