1880 census lists Amos W. Persinger in the Jackson Co. list and statesliving in Ewing, IN with L.W. Persinger & his wife Elizabeth C. and their2 children Heubert, age 1 & Ava age 3 months (b. in May). I believethese are the parents of Lewis Clarence who was born in 1882 who in turnwas the father of Malcolm Louis P. in Mecca, IN & Olive (P.) Dennis inMichigan although this is difficult to prove thus far since the 1890census was destroyed. I also theorize that L.W. died and after EmmaHarriett Persinger died then Alfred P. Gibbs Married Elizabeth C. andtherefore L.C. and my Grandmother Grace Gibbs were 1/2 sibs. And laterleft together or nearly so for Sullivan Co.
