Curate of Warden, 1903-07; of St. John, Keswick, 1907-10; Vicar of Burneside, 1910-11; of Stanwix, 1912-19; Rector of Caldbeck, 1919-31; Vicar of Santon, Isle of Man, 1931-38; Rector of Whatley-with-Chantry, Somerset, 1938-40; Vicar of Gressingham, Lancashire, 1940-46. Retired to the Isle of Man, 1946, living initially at Cultra House, Castletown, and subsequently settling at Maughold.
