Educated at Eton and New Coll., Oxford. Accompanied Daniel Meinertzhagen, Esq., on a bird-nesting and fishing expedition to Lapland, 1897, (see "Bird Life in an Arctic Spring", published by Country Life, 1899). Served in Boer War, 1899-1902, with Imperial Yeomanry (Padget's Corps). Served in Great War, and was awarded M.C., 1915. Practrices as a Solicitor.
