BIOGRAPHY: of Lythwood Hall, Bayston Hill, Shrewsbury. Educated at Downing College, Cambridge. Inherited the Stadpoles estate in Staining nr. Blackpool, from his father. One-time curate of Tockholes, Blackburn, and Curate-in-Charge of Northenden, Cheshire. Rector of St. Ann's, Manchester, 1837, Curate of Low Chapel, Walton-le-Dale, Preston, 1838-53. Vicar of Bayston Hill, Shrewsbury, 1853-79.
