James FINUCANE
(Abt 9 Dec 1859 - 21 Feb 1927)
James served his apprenticeship as a draper in Listowel, Co. Kerry before before moving to Dublin to work in the Arnotts department store. He subsequently worked as a draper in Navan where he and his wife, Maggie, raised a family. James ran his own drapery shop in the town, Finucanes, on Ludlow St. and purchased land overlooking the Blackwater River on which he built a home, Mount Rivers.
