Individual Details

Patrick (Paddy) HARVEY

(Abt 1876 - 1940)

Paddy worked a policeman from 1897 to 1907 (probably entirely in Dublin), after which he and his wife, Katie, moved to Lambhill, Glasgow where Paddy's brother George had settled. I am told Paddy ran a pub in the Glasgow area, and by the time of the marriage of his daughter Violet in 1930 he was living on Crossburn St. in Glasgow and working as an iron foundry labourer.
