Tim emigrated to the United States where he lived for a number of years (including some time spent in San Francisco) before returning to Ireland at the age of about 27 and taking over the running of the family farm.

Tim and his wife, Mary Jane, lived in Kilbaha, Moyvane. I have been told that they had 15 children but I can find evidence of just 12.

Tim died in the District Hospital in Listowel.
