Individual Details
Patrick O'HARA
(Abt 31 May 1843 - 26 Jan 1921)
Sponsors at Patrick's baptism were Laurence O'Hara and Maria Lavin.
Patrick was parish priest of Kilbride, Co. Roscommon from at least the time of the 1901 census to the time of his death in 1921. However, I have also been told that Patrick's first cousin Patrick O'Hara, son of William O'Hara and Jane Boyde, was also parish priest in Kilbride so there may be some confusion here. It is of course possible that both Patricks served as parish priest of Kilbride at different times.
There is a memorial to him in Ardcarne cemetery erected by his niece and housekeeper, Anne Mary O'Hara.
