Wyse, Nellie Schmucker, 74, Archbold, Ohio, died Jan. 19. Spouse: Warren Wyse. Parents: Myron and Herma Schmucker (deceased). Other survivors: children Jerry, Ronald, Kenneth, Sandra Miller, Cynthia Preston; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Funeral: Jan. 22 at Lockport Mennonite Church, Stryker, Ohio.
Nellie Marie Wyse, 74, Archbold, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 19, 1999, at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home, Archbold. She had been in ill health for several years. Born July 8, 1924, near Stryker, she was a daughter of Myron and Herma (Short) Schmucker. She married Warren E. Wyse on Oct. 8, 1942. A resident of the Stryker area all her 1ife, she was a homemaker and retired United States Department of Agriculture meat inspector. She was a member of the Lockport Mennonite Church, rural Stryker.
Survivors include her husband, Warren; three sons, Jerry (Lois) Wyse, Haven, Kan.; Ronald (Karen) Wyse, Camden, Mich.; and Kenneth (Brenda) Wyse, Creston, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Sandra) Miller, Elkhart, Ind.; Mrs. Jay (Cynthia) Preston, Mosinee, Wis.; 15 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Maurice Schmucker, Archbold; and Walter Schmucker, Goshen, Ind.; four sisters, Mrs. Mahler (Virgie) Wyse, and Mrs. Vincent (Mary) Beck, both of Archbold; Anna Rose Fuentes, Elkhart, Ind. and Mrs. Virgil (Carol Jean) Eddy, Barnesville, Ohio. Services are Friday, 2:30 p.m. at the Lockport Mennonite Church with Allen Rutter and Mark Miller the officiating pastors. Burial follows in the Lockport Cemetery.
