from: TheHazen family in America : a genealogy"They removed from Putnam County To Roxbury, Delaware County N>Y., perhaps about 1810, but it is said that they died at Middletown, Delaware VCounty. Nor even approximate dates can be obtained from grandchildren. It is said the Mead family had come from Connecticut to Frederickstown, Dutchess County about 1740."
