Philippa Frances Emilia Knight was the daughter of Samuel Knight.1 She married Reverend Walter Waddington Shirley, son of Rt. Rev. Walter Augustus Shirley and Maria Waddington, on 4 July 1855.1 She died on 2 February 1902.1
From 4 July 1855, her married name became Shirley.
