William de Braose was the son of William de Briouze and Maud de Saint Valéry.2 He married Maud de Clare, daughter of Richard de Clare, 3rd Earl of Hertford and Amice FitzRobert.1 He died in 1210 at Corfe Castle, Dorset, England, starved to death by King John.2
He was also known as William de Breuse.3 He was also known as William de Briouze.2
