Individual Details

We know that Marie Charlotte married after Francois' death, but there is some evidence that she was married before she married Francois. Reproduced here are the relevant entires from Father Hebert's SWLR-CD:

LYONS, John (John & Nancy AHART) m. 19 June 1826 Rebecca GILCHRIST (Opel. Ct.Hse.: Mar.#48)
The fact that John Lyons, son of John and Nancy, is listed as marrying in 1826 indicates that he did not die between march 1804 and September 1806. Also note that Marie Charlotte was born in 1790, and Baptized at the age of 16, probably just prior to the Catholic marriage to Francois. The notation by the Priest indicates that the marriage is a ratification of a civil ceremony performed in 1804.... the same year she is supposed to have married John Lyons in a Protestant ceremony. The apparent contradiction is still unresolved.
