Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2004, at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Dr. Jack Allen Hoffpauir, 56, who died Wednesday, May 12, 2004. Rev. Roger Brown officiated the services. Burial was held at the Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation was observed from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, May 14 and continued Saturday, from 8 a.m. until time of services. Dr. Hoffpauir graduated from U.S.L. and obtained his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University. Survivors include his daughter, Saja Hoffpauir of Tenn.; his son, Jack Hoffpauir, II of Florida; his brother, Girard "Sandy" Hoffpauir of Maryland and his former wife, Sarah Alexander Hoffpauir of New Orleans. He was preceded in death by his parents, Girard and Estelle McSherry Hoffpauir, Jr. and one brother, Robert Hoffpauir, Sr. Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home of Crowley was in charge of arrangements.
