CROWLEY (Lake Charles American Press, Aug 30, 2001) Funeral services for Estelle McSherry Hoffpauir, 83, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, in First Presbyterian Church. The Revs. Richard Braun and Roger Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home. Visitation is 8 a.m.-10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. Friday. Mrs. Hoffpauir died at 7:40 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2001, in a Lafayette hospital.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and United Church Woen of Crowley. She was a member of the Estherwood and Midland PTAs, and she was president emeritus of the Estherwood group.
Survivors include three sons, Bob Hoffpauir of Estherwood, Girard "Sandy" Hoffpauir III of Upper Marlboro, Md., and Dr. Jack Hoffpauir of Crowley; two brothers, Allen McSherry of New Orleans and Wilbur McSherry of Metairie; two sisters, Lucille Davis of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Blanche Erbe of Loma Linda, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
