8/19/00 DANA HOFFPAUIR BISHOP, 41, of Fayetteville, GA passed away August 15, 2000.
Born July 28, 1959 in Houston, TX. She graduated from Spring Woods High School in 1977. After high school she attended the University of Houston and pursued a career in nursing. She was an active member in the Army Officer's Spouse and Civilian Club of Ft. McPherson, GA, serving as its Newsletter Editor and Chairperson of the Annual Golf Tournament. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend Lt. Col. Craig Bishop, parents Archie and Joyce Hoffpauir, brother Kirk Hoffpauir and his wife Donita and their children Kelsey, Kara, and Kyle, sister Susan Kachler and her husband Larry and their children Kelly and Kourtney, and sister Linda Swords. Pallbearers are Kirk Hoffpauir, Larry Kachler, Danny Kelso, Shannon Marks, Wayne Marks, and Ken Starr. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 20, 2000 from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer at Dairy Ashford. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 21, 2000 at 11 A.M. at Chapelwood United Methodist Church Chapel, located at 11140 Greenbay with Dr. Jim Jackson Officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Save the Children Foundation, 54 Wilton Road, Westport Road, Westport, CT 06880.
