Hazel Irene Jones states: "I just read the info regarding Gloria Hoffpauir. Curley C. Hoffpauir was my uncle (as you have on record) and my mother's eldest brother. All I have are recollections of my mom telling me of when she lived with him and his family in New York City while attending college. The family at that time consisted of his wife "Rose" and daugther Gloria. I have a picture of that Gloria Hoffpauir in a pram at about age 2. This picture would have been taken in the mid to late 20's, after my mom finished high school; certainly prior to the stock market crash in 1929 - as everyone was doing well financially in N.Y. at that time. In later correspondence with my uncle in the 1950's, he mentioned all the other children you have listed as children by the second wife, but I don't recall him ever mentioning Gloria having come to LA or marrying someone from LA. This makes me wonder if this Gloria Hoffpauir is really the one to whom Mr. Morgan is referring."
