He was a graduate of Texas A & M and Duke University Law School. When my mother graduated high school, she traveled to New York City and attended college there while living with my uncle, his wife Rose, and their daughter, Gloria. He indicated to me through his letters that he had divorced Rose and remarried and was divorced again by the time I was corresponding with him. He talked about having at least one son (whom he called Johnny), but may have had more children."
