Four Children: Sam Hoffpauir and wife, Darlene, of Pasadena, Texas Wayne Hoffpauir of Pasadena Sandra Bishop and husband, Brownie, of Deer Park, Texas Paula Kleiman of Houston, Texas Five Grandchildren: Kerri Bishop Antichevich of Deer Park Chad Hoffpauir of Pasadena Bryan Hoffpauir, and wife, Lisa, of Deer Park Michael Bishop of Deer Park Lisa Hoffpauir Waldrop and husband, John, of Pasadena Three Great Grandchildren: Rebecca, Mikayla, and Matthew Antichevich of Deer Park. Pallbearers: Michael Bishop, grandson; John Waldrop, grandson-in-law; Bryan Hoffpauir, grandson; Archie Hoffpauir, nephew; Chad Hoffpauir, grandson; Eddie Skura, brother-in-law. He served a total of 23 years of military service including active U.S. Army, the National Guard and the U.S. Army Reserves, retiring with the rank of First Sergeant. He graduated from Crowley High School in 1946 and attended Louisiana State University. He lived in Louisiana, Georgia, and Texas. His favorite pastime was fishing, and many happy hours were spent at his lake retreat at Toledo Bend where he loved spending time with family and friends and frying fish on the Coleman stove. He was employed by the U.S. Post Office in Louisiana and after moving to Texas, he worked for Lubrizol Corporation until he retired. There were many other jobs he had in-between as he could fix and do most anything. He was a man of few words but his kind heart touched many lives. He was a faithful member of the Church of the Nazarene.
