Individual Details
Loraine Briles
(19 Jun 1913 - 24 Aug 2000)
Her first cousin, Marie Briles, also married a Tenery. (Marie was the daughter of Loraine's Uncle Cicero Briles.) Marie was born in 1900, and Loraine was born in 1913, so the two cousins could have married two brothers. As of October 2005, we do not know if the two Tenerys were brothers or related in any way, although it seems that they probably were related.
In a letter from Winona Briles Brown (Loraine's sister) to Sara Briles Moriarty dated July 20, 1982, Winona reports that Loraine was at a Briles Family Reunion that took place in Italy, Texas, earlier that month, so she was still alive as of that date.
In a letter from Winona to Sara dated Decmeber 1983, Winona says that, as of that date, Loraine and her family were living in Plainview, Texas.
The Social Security Death Index gives her SS Card # as 455-48-5729 and says it was issued in Texas.
