See "Genealogy of the Hibbard Family Who are Descendants of Robert Hibbard of Salem, MA" by Augustine George Hibbard, dated 1901, pages 26 and 35 found at Heritage Quest Online and LDS Family Search. Nathaniel, son of Nathaniel Hibbard and Sarah Crane born at Windham 23 Oct 1709, married Abigail, daughter of Samuel Couch (Cornish ?) and settled at Green's Farms, CT; removed to New Fairfield during the Revolutionary War and died there about 1790. Four children shown were Elisha, Deborah, Griswold, Sally and two daughter who died young.
