See LDS film 599306 page 451 and 728 "History and Genealogy of the Families of Old Fairfield", Vol II by Donald Jacobus at the FHC page 728 states that Elizabeth Osborn "may possible be" the wife of Elisha Hibbard and leaves the issue subject to confirmation. Page 451 states that his wife, Elizabeth Osborn may possible be the daughter of Nathan Osborn and leaves the issue subject to confirmation.

1820 census for Southeast, Putnam Co., NY shows a Elisha Hibbert age 45+ living with 3 females ages 26-44 and one age 45+.

1810 survey of farms on Lot No. 8 of the Philipse Patent in the town of Southeast, Dutchess Co., NY, shows a Nathaniel Hebbard with 1 acre and Elisha Hebbard with 4 acres. See the "History of Putnam Co., NY" by William S. Pelletreau dated 1886 page 420. Elisha Hubbard and Nathanial Hubbard are also shown as a tenants in Lot No. 6 of the Philipse Patent in 1810 per "Records of early settlers of Putnam Co. and Cortlandt Manor, NY" by Frederick C. Haacker dated 1954 page 12 at Heritage Quest Online

1810 census for Southeast, Dutchess Co., NY near Carmel, Putnam Co. shows a Nathaniel Hibbard, age 26-44, living next to Elisha Hibbard, age 45+, assume this is father and son. Two females ages 16-26 are in Elisha's home.

1800 census for South East, Dutchess Co., NY shows Elisha Hibbard age 45+ living near his son, Nathaniel Hibbard age 16-25 (Nathaniel is 22). In his home are: 1 female age 10-15, 2 females age 16-25 and 1 female age 45+ (his wife Elizabeth).

1790 census for New Fairfield, Fairfield Co., CT show an Elisha Hibbard living with one male age 0-16 (Nathaniel age 12) and five females. This would indicate he had 4 daughters. Living next to him was a Nathaniel Hibbard which would be his father living with 2 females.

1785 Names of Persons taken in to the Congregational Church of New Fairfield, Connecticut, in 1785 Sept. 11 were Elisha Hibbard, Sarah Hibbard and Griswold Hibbard. Their relationship is unknown. See: www.barnum.org/churchmeetings.html.

1746 birth and death dates and place from Ancestry.com: Shelia Lyon: lyon55@flash.net. FHC film 599306 page 451 (noted above) shows Elisha born 20 May 1746 and baptized on 29 June 1746 with birth recorded in Fairfield and baptism recorded in Westport.
