Weinsam "Vincent" Bresie

(Bet 1695 and 1702 - )

In a posting on GenForum (Genealogy.com) dated 4 Oct 2003 by Clarence Brisee, he stated his line came from Wensam (Vincent) Brazie line. His son, Adrian Brisee, is part of my DNA study.

See study received from Kenneth & Georgia Bunny shows him the son of Christopher Bresie and Christina Claeszen.

See Donald Goodwin file and Sharon Reck file and gedcom shows him the son of Christopher Bresie and Christina Claeszen.

1739 Wynzangh (Vincent) Brusie and Elsje Brusie were witnesses for christening of Elsje, daughter of Henrich Hooghteelingh and Christina Brusie on 23 Jan 1739 at the Reformed Protestant Dutch Ch of Linlithgo, Columbia Co., NY (now Johnstown, NY), per LAFHC film 1016564 page 19 (this makes a case that Wynzangh and Christina were brother and sister, children of Nicholas and Catelyntje and not the children of Christopher and Styntje). Also see Linlithgo32_009.jpg.

1734 Per Karen Gloria Miller: Linlithgo RC Church baptism record #88 is for 8 Feb 1734 for Theun Brusie and Jann Brusie baptizing Wynzangh with Wynsangh Brusie and Elsje Brusie as sponsors. Also see file Linliathgo32_007.jpg page 15.

1725 Record #48 on 25 May 1725 for Vincent and Elsje Brusie christened daughter Catharina with sponsors Jan Decker and Antje van Sindam at the Reformed Protestant Dutch Ch of Linlithgo, Columbia Co., NY (now Johnstown, NY). See file Linlithgo32_004.jpg on page 9.

1717 Karen also reported on 14 Jan 01 e-mail: Palatine Minister Joshua Kockerthal had a baptism on 16 June 1717 for Margarethhm born 16 May 1717 child of Wiensam and Elsgen Bruschi; sponsors Peter Tones and Margarentha Kurtz.

1715 - A Wynant/Wensem/Vincent Brusie, born abt. 1690, listed in the 1715 muster roll for Livingston Manor along with Gabriel and Nicholas Brusie, son's of Christoffel.

1702 birth year is a guess based on baptism of first child in 1717 making him 15 years old.

1695 birth year shown in RevoYoung.02 file Mel.02_15.jpg as son of Christopher Bresee and Christina Nicholas.

1694 born about, in Loonenburg, Green Co., NY: See Revo Morrey file: RevoYoung.06_5.jpg. RevoYoung.06_29.jpg showing Weinsam parents as Nicholas Bresee and Catalyntje Bont. (may not be correct)
