(2)( 1983 ) Dude married Sherman Hammonds. Bede married Bud Tanksley. Billy Bryant married Alice. Jessie Bryant married Maude. Grand Pa Hays died in Brownwood, Texas, age 84. Grand Ma Hays was a Shaw. First husband killed in Civil War?. No children.Grandma Breece was in Arkansas when Floy was moved to Oklahoma. Charlie Hays never married? Was a lawyer in Arkansas also? Floy said she was named after Floy Shaw? The Breece's were in Oklahoma first. They got Sam to move to Oklahoma. Perry Hays was Doctor in Witts Springs and was attending doctor when Perry Bryant, Sr. was born. The family lived close to a church in Witts Springs. They traveled by horse and wagon. Grand Ma Hays was on a Pension.[Civil War]

(3) (June 1988) Sam's mother was Sally or Betsy? Floy's family came to Oklahoma from Arkansas in 1902. Henry Breece took Floy to her grand ma's house when she was about 8-12 years old.. She rode on the horse behind Henry. Floy guessed at 10 to 12 miles. She thought they went up on Brushy Mountain. Grand Pa was still living. She remembered him as an average size person. He was blind. Floy refered to him as Grand Pa Breece. She thought that Grand Ma was almost blind. She visited about a week. They lived out in the country. Log House 2 buildings.

Uncle Jessie Bryant (Sam's older brother ) lived below Ft. Smith Ar. His wife was Maude. 2 children Alice and Tom, both older than Floy. Floy and Hardy visited them in Arkansas. It seems that Jessie came to Oklahoma for a visit and took Hardy and Floy back with him to visit. Harold and Hazel were along as well. They went on the train. Uncle Jessie lived in town. Floy didn't think he was a farmer. Floy said she remembered that Jessie was older than her father. Jessie said it was her rememberance that Jessie was a small man. He didn't look anything like her father (Sam).

John Eagle( Indian ) owned the farm that Sam her father rented.

Uncle Henry Breece was a preacher. Uncle Harry Breece was a farmer.

Floy remembered that her father (Sam) had a stepdad. She said he called him Will.

Mother and dad went alone to Harry Breece's funeral.

Only her dad went to grandma's funeral. Went on horseback. Gone 2-3 days. ( This was also her brother Blaine's rememberance )

Walter Breece lived nearby and possibily one other brother of Walter's.

Floy went to Bellefonte school. She attended to the 8th grade as that was as high as it went. To go higher they would have to go to Long,Ok.

In Arkansas (Witts Springs) Sam had an Apple Orchard behind the house. Floy tried to find a Red Apple in the smoke house but could only find green apples. Note: Floy was only 5 or 6.

Floy sang in a choir (alto). Floy named after Floy Rodgers. This was someone that Hattie knew in Arkansas.

Both Aunt Dude and Aunt Bede visited Sam and Hattie. Aunt Dude was pretty. Not so Bede. Bud Tanksley was Bede's husband.

It took 18 days For Floy, Hardy and children , to travel from Oklahoma to California.

Hardy's mother was named Sally. She died and his father married a woman named Etter. She thought the Snows came from Arkansas or Missouri. Uncle Ott was Hardy's brother. The name was short for Ottowa. Ott married Zazel. Floy remembered the following siblings of Hardy. Otis, Ott, Volly and Roy.
