1860 census for Brunswick, VT, shows a Margarett Marshall age 75 (born 1785) a farmer born in Canada.
1830 census for Brunswick, VT, shows a Wm. Marshall age 40-50 (he was 49) in Brunswick, Essex Co., VT, living with a woman age 40-50 (his wife Margaret was age 43) along with 1 male age 5-10 (may be son Benjamin 14), 2 males age 20-30 (may be sons William 24 and George 22), 2 females 15-20 (daughters Jane 16 and Mary 18), 1 female age 20-30 (daughter Evelina Ann Maria 26). There are similar neighbors show in this census as in the 1820 census.

Marshall age 26-45 (he was 39) in Brunswick, Essex Co., VT, living with a woman age 26-45 (his wife Margaret Emerson was age 33) along with 1 male age 0-10 (this could be either son Richard 9 or Benjamin 4), 2 males age 10-16 (may be sons William 14 and George 12), 2 females (daughters Jane 6 and Mary 8) and 1 female (daughter Evelina Ann Maria 16).
1816 birth date and Brunswick, VT, location for the birth of son, Benjamin, is from the IGI but shows the wrong husband as Caleb Marshall. This was the case for all of her children listed in the IGI showing the wrong husband.
1805-1806 the family must have moved from Northumberland, NH, birth place of their first child, to Brunswick, VT where the remaining children were born while living on a farm now called the Flanders place. See "History of the town of Stratford NH 1773-1925" by Jeannette Thompson, page 421.
1803 marriage of William Marshall and Margarett Emerson on July 5th as reported in "State's copy of Records of Northumberland, Volume 1" page 65 as reported by Hez Smith, Justice Peace, received for Record on 24th November 1804. 1803 marriage is also per "History of the town of Stratford NH 1773-1925" by Jeannette Thompson, page 421, "William Marshall married, July 5, 1803, Margaret Iemeson, daughter of Dorothea (Gamsby) Iemeson". 1803 marriage date and location is also from the IGI but is incorrect in that it shows the husband as Caleb Marshall.
