THIS MAY NOT BE CORRECT IN THE MARRIAGE OF PHEBE ANDREWS AND JOHN GRANT: See Roots Web's World Connect Project: R.K. West's Master List. Children of Phebe Andrews and John Grant are: Phebe Grant born 27 Apr 1745 and died 27 Apr 1808. She married Isaac Johnson 17 Sept 1762 in New Haven, CT, son of Joseph Johnson and Rachel Mead. He was born 19 Feb 1742 in Stratford, CT and died 27 Jun 1822 in Stratford, NH; and John Grant.
IGI shows marriage in 1750. 1750 marriage year does not match birth of daughter in 1745.
1753 death date is from "A History of the Presbyterian Church in America" by Rev. Richard Webster dated 1857, page 576. He graduated from Yale in 1741, and ordained, by New York Presbytery, pastor of Westfield, NJ, before Oct 1746. Died 16 Sept 1753, aged 37.

See above "A genealogical study of the Grant family": he was ordained before Oct. 1746.
