Posting at Gen Forum by Bruce Davis on 24 May 2005: "Gesia Bressy (Geesje Breesee/Gesia Bresie) was born about 1709 (best guess) and died May 03, 1777 at Copake, Columbia, NY. She is buried at the Copake Cem., Copake, Columbia, NY. She married Abraham Spoor about Oct 1732 (best guess). Their first child that I have is Johannes Spoor, baptised Mar 17, 1733/34 at Kinderhook, Columbia, NY, Reformed Church. Geesje is a daughter of Nicholas (Brusie/Bressy/Brussy/Brusy), born about 1682, Albany, NY, and Catelyntje Bont (Bond/Bout), baptised Apr 28, 1686 at Schenectady, Albany, NY. Nicholas is a child of Christopher Brussi and Christina Claesgens."
