Individual Details
Caleb Benedict
(1709 - 19 May 1761)
See "Bouton, Boughton and Farnam Families" by Willis A. Boughton dated 1949 page 137 from Heritage Quest. Shows he was the son of John Benedict II and Mary Hoyt, his marriage and death. This has a death date for him of 13 Dec 1797 in Norwalk, CT and not 19 May 1761.
The "The Hickok genealogy: descendants etc." incorrectly show the children from his first wife, Anna St. John. The mother was most likely Mary Hoyt, his second wife.
