1817 town meeting for Stewartstown, NH, voted to "Sett up Betsey Selingham, Susanna Selingham and Katherine Selingham to the lowest Bidder * * * * Voted to sell the Henry Selingham farm to pay for keeping Polly Selingham one year." No mention of Amy.
1810 death or after is set by birth of last child on March 30th. 1810 census for Stewartstown, NH, shows Henery Sullingham living with two females, one age 24-44 (possible a daughter) and one age over 45 (his wife born before 1765).
1800 prior to: page 664 of the "History of Coos County" by Georgia Drew Merrill shows early settlers to Stewartstown, NH, were Henry and Amy Sullingham living on lot No. 1 and had five children: Katharine, born March 30,1803, Jacob born October 1, 1804, Elizabeth, born November 23, 1806, Susanna, born June, 1808, Polly, born March 30,1810.
1775 settled in Thorton about this time per e-mail dated 13 May 1997 from Brenda Drowne (Jeeneology@aol.com): "According to some info from my grandmother's records, there was a Henry Sellingham that settled with his sons Henry Jr. and Jacob in Thorton, NH about 1775. Henry Jr. married Amy Brainard and lived in Stewartstown, NH. They had 5 childern. Jacob married in Plymouth, NH, 14 Sept 1781 to Hannah Torrey. They lived in Thornton and Woodstock, NH. They had 9 childern. They were both in Col. Scannell's Continental Regiment during the Revolution. This info was taken from p. 625 s. Stearns, 1906, of Plymouth, New Hampshire."
