1859 death certificate for his mother, Elizabeth, which he signed, indicated they were living on Thomas St., St. John dist., Coventry.
1851 census - LDS index has a Edward Brown, age 42 (born 1809) a watch finisher living with his wife, Mary age 36 (born 1815) and their family living on Trafakar St., St. Michael dist., Coventry.
1841 census shows him as age 31 (born 1810), a watch maker living on Hertford Terrace, Coventry (near his parents) with his wife Mary age 26 (born 1815) and son John age 1.
1839 marriage certificate for him show he is of full age, a bachelor watch maker living on Hill St., Coventry and who's father was Benjamin Brown, a watch maker. Present at the marriage were Simeon Brown, Emma Welch (may be related to his wife), John Metor (?) and ? Hill.
1809 christening info. from the IGI page 5933 and confirmed by review of St. John's Parish Register (film 560718). Birth date was determined from St. John's Parish Register.
