Notes
Birth
Birthdate is calculated from date of death and age of 87 years, 3 months, and 24 days on tombstone.Death
His obituary gives his date of death as 11 September 1905 instead of 4 September 1905. The date of death on his tombstone is 4 September 1905. Since his probate file gives his date of death as 4 September 1905, this is the correct date.Probate

His will was probated 8 September 1905. His will mentions his sons Noah, Andrew, and Job who do not receive any specific bequests since they had already received their share from him. His daughter, Barbara Butler, of Portland, Kansas is to receive $903.55 in addition to what she has already received. His daughter, Sarah Jane McMillen, is to receive two tracts of land containing 50 acres more or less in Shelby County, Ohio in addition to what she has already received. He gives the children of his deceased daugher, Anna Ike, two tracts of land containing 50 acres more or less. He gives his granddaughter, Ida M.
